We have found that in the Omaha, a 6 step fertilizer program works well for maintaining yards that are already in good shape. If your lawn is in need of a major renovation, don’t worry, we do that too!

When to APPLY

Fertilizer

 Mid-March to Mid-April

PRE-Emergent

Give your lawn a jump start to the season. Feeds your lawn to achieve thick greenery faster and prevents crabgrass.

 April-June

Weed and Feed

Your lawn needs a lot of nutrients to keep growing steadily and using water efficiently. This step also prevents broadleaf weeds.

 Mid-May to Early June

Crabgrass preventer 

An extra boost to ensure your yard stays free of crabgrass. Plus this application has a slow release fertilizer to maintain healthy growth.

 Mid-June to Early July

Grub Control 

Stops grubs from eating at the roots of your grass causing brown, dead spots throughout the yard.

 Mid-August to October

REcover 

After a hot summer, your lawn needs a little extra nutrients to return to its lush green self. This application supplies slow and quick release nitrogen.

 Late October to November

Winterizer

Before your lawn looses color and goes dormant for the season a strong root system is important. This step provides extra phosphorous and potash to build those roots.
